We do this about once every 6 months, but the old threads have a ton of broken images.
Here's the concept: Post a couple pictures of things you see everyday. Or something interesting you've spotted recently. Just make sure it's a relatively recent picture and that you took it. Oh, and that it's clean.

These two were taken with the crappy camera on my phone. But it's all I had at the time.

People climbing the man made rock face underneath a freeway. Spotted them while walking home.

Part of the campaign to feed baby animals to our young. Next up: kitten shakes.

I took a trip to Longwood Gardens recently and took some pics. The first one was on a large sundial. I had you guys in mind when i took it. The second one is hanging over my computer in 17" by 24" variety next to a big shot of a rustic stairwell. I love the darkroom.

For those following the saga of my camera... I got it on Friday. I really like it a lot. It's a Canon Elan 7NE. I got a Sigma 28 - 135 f/3.8 - 5.6 lens for her. Very nice, can't wait to get back to school to develope pictures from it. Enjoy!

OK, webshots won't let me hotlink, so if anyone is feeling ambitious, click the link to see two pics of things I see everyday.

Looks like a Ford Escort next to a gas pump with a police helicopter on top of it. Weird.

I think that's a Fiesta, not an Escort

Hmmm. Is that from Casualty?

Anyway. Are you across the pond now? Haven't been seeing much of you recently.

Poor turtle! Must have been pretty old. It'd be nice to have something for scale in the photo to compare to the turtle's size.

Glad you got the job, btw. Thought I told you to keep me posted!

that occurred to us as an afterthought. i guess the flies and weeds will have to suffice. we reckoned that it was about 30-36" in length. (head to tail)

This thread really got me thinking... there are a LOT of people that own digital cameras and take GREAT pictures. As a graphic designer, stock photos are essential and pricey. I was wondering if there was a forum or interactive website that users can upload their own great pictures for users to use?

Good idea if it wasn't done already....
