EDIT: w00t! Page 8, it's gonna be great!

Page 9 will cross the line.

Page 10 will seperate the boys from the men.

Not flirting with me, I'm just trying to figure out what it means.

Does she mean she is kidding?
Is she covering a mean statement by adding a wink so that later if questioned, she can say, "i put a wink there!"

I just don't get what significance it adds.

True, the inhabitants of the Sar Chasm are known for their puzzling pronouncements. Us plain dealing folk just have to scratch our heads sometimes.

Good thing nobody can accuse you and I of jumping to the wrong conclusion right, old boy?

Hello, ICRUISE!

Will you also pull up our exchanges which evidence your wanting revenge against me?

Or are you less interested in making it clear to the assembled friends, posters and liberals that you aren't here to praise AW but are on a petty mission to bury him?

And for something that even more than a year later you STILL can't wrap your brain around.

Please, Icruise leave in peace. No good will come of this for anyone.

I was speaking from the POV of the Canadians. You decried non-Americans posting in threads about American politics as being "foreign agents" (like they'd actually been assigned in some nefarious plot to disrupt political speech on a Mac news forum -- one of the most laughable ideas, like, evar) so one can infer that you, an American, posting in threads about Canadian politics would similarly make you a "foreign agent" to the Canadians. Do keep up.

Page 9 anyone?

You've already posted twice within this very page, so I guess you'll have to increase your level of restraint if that is your goal

So you think the idea that we are all Foreign Agents posting here in the service of non-US governments in order to influence the US political climate actually has merit beyond the ludicrously absurd hilarity of the idea?

If you were to check my first entry into that or those threads you'd see I was doing so with tongue-in-cheek, in effect tipping my cap to the irony of the situation where I was doing exactly what I'd complained of.

So, yes, you were and are correct.

Why?

Because first you send me a PM demanding that I "retract" something that I said last year at these boards ANONYMOUSLY and not specifying you, which, as it turns out, turned out to be the truth: You were attempting to have a relationship with an underaged minor girl. Maybe she was 17 going on 18, but the truth is that in most states "underaged" is 17 last I heard. I was very concerned about you.

Which as someone else pointed out here after your commentary where you spill your guts, does not endear you to some people.

I was upset. I told Kevin I was and he said, "You're overreacting." I thought, "Maybe he's right. I'll lighten up."

I sent you a PM that said:

Just to let you know, I went to bat for you yesterday and this morning.

I don't think any "public retraction" is going to help things, you know? I just did what I think is best to level the playing field at MacNN.

I don't think you're a bad guy. You know, I wrote you a long letter explaining my feelings and wishing you the best and it was returned to me unopened. I just wanted you to know that the sentiment towards you was one that was positive and hopeful for you and your life.

A lot has happened since you and I spoke - it's been a long time - and life is too short to be mean.

If you have a question about my intentions regarding a post of mine in response to posts at MacNN always assume the best first, not the worst.

That's all I have to say except I do hope your life is improving and that you have quit smoking.

Have a good day.
What did you do? You posted an entire post about your experience with me and alluded to the fact that you thought that perhaps I had called your little girlfriend's employer (which I did NOT do) and said that I "poisoned" that relationship.

Repeatedly here I have been nice to you - at least pleasant - and you ignore it.

Then people call you on it and what do you do?

You say, "If [you] can forgive, forget and let bgygones be bygones...why can't THAT act to motivate some of you and not the negative things?"

Yes, you are so principaled that you ask others to do what you, yourself, do not do!

One thing I can tell you about this place is that people call bullshit when they see it. They do it with me, they do it with others, they'll do it over and over again. The gloves are always off here with someone.

I just couldn't resist the urge to purge here, once again.

Carry on.

Ever since she got her own show I've had a slight "thing" for her. That is until I discovered we weren't astrologically compatible.

Nonetheless, I must agree avec vous.

Regardless of Kevin's intent, which he is completely free to express without affecting my respect for him, I want to, ONCE AGAIN attempt to set you straight.

Answer this question:

"Why don't government legislators usually allow foreign nationals to express their points of view in their legislative chambers before a vote?"

Carry on.

Okay, I'm likely missing big pieces here, but I'm compelled to this drama like a moth to a flame...

Why were you so concerned with him? The girl was right on the border line age (from what I can gather?), and they lived miles apart. The main rationale behind the underage law is to prevent children from making irrational decisions such as having sex too early, getting married too early, etc. Wasn't the internet helping them get to know each other in a "safe" way? Weren't they planning on not progressing in their relationship until it was legal to do so?

It's not as if people are magically enlightened with all of this new wisdom the second the bell tools 12 on the eve/day of their 18th birthday.

Ultimately I realized enforcing this would be impossible so I gave up the effort.

I NEVER said that foreign agents shouldn't be allowed to comment on American politics.

Even if I may have wished that were the case.

The punishment for an evil deed is having done evil.
The reward for a good deed is having done good.
