Flash video is h.264, which (especially when combined with Flash's inefficiency, particularly on PowerPC) is far too demanding for such a slow CPU. It barely works on a 1GHz machine. Sorry.

I think the processor is too slow. That machine has got to be 6-7 years old.

Sorry.

What 4 replies and no one complaining that the OP said MAC instead of Mac. You guys are slipping, I'm so disappointed

btw, I concur with tooki and goMac, the culprit is the processor. Its unable to handle the demands of the modern intarweb

unfortunately tour proc is too slow... if you can sell the machine for a decent price upgrade to something with at least 1.2 ghz processor

In the title, you had called it a MAC instead of a Mac. It looks like a mod has gone and fixed it for you, though. (MAC = Media Access Control, Mac = Macintosh).

And one more vote for the CPU. The computer is just too old for something like that.

Flash video is not exclusively h.264

Flash now supports h.264 codec, but sites like youtube etc do not use it (outside of special cases like on the iPhone).
