Has anyone found a way to save Indesign CS2 files to the CS1 format? As far as I can tell this is not possible, and that is a fairly huge issue since I can't rely on most of the publication and production houses to have the upgrade yet.

For most things I can give print pdf files but for some things that's just not an option.

Has anyone found another work around for this?

Adobe posted an update to the InDesign Interchange format (.INX) a few days ago. You can get it from within InDesign by using the help menu/updates.

From CS 2, you choose to Export as "InDesign Interchange Format".

The CS 1 user however, must install a newer version of Interchange Format plugin first. It's available at Adobe's web site (Support/Downloads).
