Hi,

I just recieved my Panther. I tried to install it on my exisiting Ti Book with latest OS X. It goes fine till it reach Destination Volume and it does not show any hard disk at all.
I repaired permissions, yet won't work. I tried the disk utility wiht panther and it can't seem to verify or repair my disk. I don't have a way to back up. Any ideas?

Thanks

Did you try formatting the drive first? You might want to try that first...

At least you already have your Panther, unlike us who are all still waiting...

Does your disk have the minimum space required available?

Did you run disk utiltity first aid from your Jaguar CDs first? You may need to try a third party utility too like Disk Warrier if it still won't install and you have sufficient. space.
