Mail Mailboxes Icons Changable?

I was just wondering when you create a new Mailbox in Mail App, could you change the default folder that it has as an icon?

Yep easy crtl-click on the application in the finder and choose show package contents, open the contents folder inside and then open the resources folder, replace NormalMailbox.tiff ( 16 *16 pixels ) and NormalMailboxLarge.tiff ( 32*32 pixels ), the name has to be exactly the same ! You have to restart mail.app if it was running...

Is there a program to do so?

I use CanCombineIcons ( 10$ shareware ) to convert the icon into a ;Tiff, but you will also need a simple app to resize the tiff, I use Photoshop, but you can also use GraphicConverter or a similar app...

Since this thread is open and is related to my question I would like to know if anyone knows how the change the icons in mail? I mean the icons in the menu bar like: Get mail, delete, forward, etc
Is it difficult to do that?

It's actually very easy. Just ctrl-click the Mail icon and click show package contents go in to the resources folder and you'll see the icons.
