Does anybody have an opinion how much of a difference these additional 64 MB might be in regard to gaming? I see many good offers for last generation PB 15" 1.67 GHz so should I try to get a 128MB one or is there basically no difference?

IIRC, additional video RAM didn't serve much purpose in that generation of Macs, at least not for games.
