That's what disk utility says about my main partion and isn't able to repair.

My disk won't mount or boot.OSXFAQ tell me I could fix it with terminal and fsck but even if I have a working OS X partion it does not contain any utilities (so no terminal).

What can I do?

If terminal.app is less then 5 megs someone could send it to my mailbox. I don't have disk warrior.

Thanks

That is a really bad error. I used to get keys out of order due to poor adaptec 39160 driver support under OS X. Nothing will fix it, I had to format everytime.

DiskWarrior has fixed "keys out of order" error for me at least twice in the last two years.

Since i don't have DiskWarrior I had to reformat. Then, guess what, My new partition isn't showing in the OS X installer! Since disk utility is available on the CD I launch it and it reported "keys out of order" problem on my new partition! Fck! Reformat, retry installation, now it's working but the installation never completed. Restart, run DU again... Keys out of order...

I tried booting in single user mode, typed fsck -y and got Keys... (4,20)

How can those errors resist to a reformat?

I had it too one year ago when I booted from 9 on the 2nd IDE HD of my G3. I losa ALL of my second HD's content and had to reformat everything. Now I even don't dare to boot from 9 on a CD...

I have fix my problem (for now). I have changed the way I partition my drive and it seems to work. It's a little dumb. I just inverted my 2 partitions, my small one for the OS (the one that was always being corrupted) in the bottom and my large one for DV at the top. Everything is working for now but the initial error came with a hard crash (system freeze) and a force reset. I will have to wait for the next one to see if the drive has to be changed. Or maybe I will provoque a hard crash just to be fix asap.

Drive 10 fixed this for me, no problem. Have you tried this or DW? (and if you don't have DW, why don't you just get it, I guess your data isn't that important?)

Yes, it's not 9 that screwed you up. It is because Rev. A B&W could not have 2 drives on the primary IDE bus. There was disk corruption and data loss like you experienced. 9 is not the problem, the hardware is.

The funny thing is that everything works fine in X....
No corruption, no data loss.
