My mom has given me a vague present hint for my dad that is less than specific. There is an app, or a dohickey plugged into his Mac, that he would like to use to play a song, find the chord, and then be able to play it on his guitar.

Does such a thing exist? Is it this:

From the description it seems like Capo will show not just the chords but the score, more ways for him to learn to play his tunes.
