Ok... so i used to have a hotmail account, before a barrage of spam, gone over to googlemail. For some reason for the last week ive not been able to get onto the hotmail website!!
Does anyone use hotmail and have this prob?
Im running leopard on a macbook 2.0ghz with Safari 3

I'm thinking it might be Hotmail's expiring accounts. It used to be they'd kill your account after 60 days without a login — it might still be, but now it's just an indeterminate "extended period" in the terms of service, so who knows what that is?

on some computers i have issues with hotmail as well. after logging in the URL just keeps on switching from the one "live" to the other "live" and seems to be in a loop. sometimes resetting safari helps.
Hotmail is just another product microsoft has been trying to improve too much. This live thing is totally awful. I wish I could switch to another address but I know thats very difficult to explain to some friends and family since they barely understand computers at all and have the old and bad habit to write addresses in a book..

Sorry... i wasnt clear... I mean i cant get on www.hot mail.com (website wont load) ( i have to resort to using my other-halfs dell laptop [shudder])
All i get is the same as PB2K mentioned... just seems to get stuck in a loop of redirected addresses!!!!

I think the Hotmail website was designed to be difficult for Safari.

Every once in awhile I run into that using Safari on both my Mac and iPhone. I usually have to clear the cache and delete cookies to get it to work again, When I do that it works for awhile, then does it again...I enter my account info and try to log in, it just takes me back to the log in page over and over...
