hi my macbook is doing ok but could use more ram.
i have a 2 gig core 2 duo and 1 gb 667 mhz ddr2 sdram
where is a good place to get ram

Look around, particularly in this forum. There are a lot of good sources. I just got 2GB of Corsair RAM for my MBP for about $60 through Egghead. Keep your eyes open.

I have an extra 3GB memory set (1x2GBstick & 1 1GB stick), it's brand new from other world computing. It's 160 plus shipping at OWC, I can give it to you for 125. I live close to nyc too.
