OK here we go, I just bought a 2nd gen iPod 20 gig, and came home I went into iTunes and did a factory restore, and now it is telling me to connect the power supply for the wall, all I have is the cable for the computer sysnc, is there a way around this or do I have to go and buy a wall charger for this thing ?

Help please.

All iPods 4G and prior require a wall charger when you do a restore.

You actually paid money for a 2G iPod? Yeah, you need a wall charger.

My touch still requires wall power after a restore.

Oh. Well, neither my 5G or my 6G (or my iPhone) needed a wall charger. I guess I assumed wrong.
