Since I dropped my iphone (1.1.2 with bootloader 4.6 ) only the lower half of the touchscreen works.

40% won't respond anymore, which comes down to about two lines of buttons in the mainscreen. Is this fixable by myself, maybe squeeze the case at some places (tried so far a few times, wont work) ? I had it bought in the USA and have no guarantee.

thx

Wow that sucks. I doubt that there is much you can do. Maybe restore it to factory settings. IDK.

Accidents are not covert by warranty, regardless of where you buy the equipment. Really sorry to hear this, it sucks majorly.

Did you try squeezing the case at some places?...

Gee, it's hard to believe that didn't work. Maybe you just need to do it a few more times?

i dont feel comfortable squeezing it too much. it might destroy it totally. I'll just take my loss and try to fetch a new one.

i just sold it to someone else who knows about the screen issue and wants to give it a try. I think it can be fixed but just not by me.
