I'm selling my 12" PowerBook G4. It's really in excellent condition. The battery holds an excellent charge (it's only been through about 85 cycles according to coconutbattery). There is a small dent in the front close to the latch (it was like that when I bought it from Apple Refurb). There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with the machine beyond that. It's extremely reliable.

It's the stock 1.5GHz/60GB HDD/512MB RAM/AirPort/Bluetooth/XGA model.

I'd ideally like to get about $800 for this machine. I've looked at completed listings on eBay and this does not seem unreasonable. Anyone interested?

If you want $800, I'd take it to eBay. Forum prices are usually quite lower than eBay because people know the current market for Macs, and you don't have to deal with scammers, eBay fees, etc.. Otherwise, there would be no point in selling on a forum, just buy it off eBay.

Thanks. I really wanted to avoid eBay because between them and PayPal, probably close to $75 of the machine's price will be eaten by fees.

How much would people be willing to pay here, $750? $700?

Is anyone interested? I'd really rather not sell on eBay...they eat way too much of your profits, I think.
