has anyone else experienced this out there?

after updating my macbook firmware I have all volumes way up and it hardly sounds like it is at the half volume level..

I don't get it

YOu know, I thought I noticed that as well, but given as I use as externals most of the time, I thought I was imagining it,,, I noticed it yeterday, when using the built in speakers.. Maybe they lowered it for some reason? Blowing out the speakers before?

Haven't updated yet so my speakers to me still sounds great. I'll post my results after updated

yeah it seems somewhat quiter. but what is the deal with updating the core 2 duo whatevever?
