I have printed these out, and keep them along with other paper how-to's next to my "Time Machine CCC" backup.

Yes, I have two backups, one Time Machine connected permanently, and one CCC'd I update every week or so which I keep in a drawer.

iMac Intel Core i5, 2.5GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB 21.5" Monitor 10.8.3.
iMac 17" 2.0ghz Intel Core 2 Duo w 3gb memory (White one) 10.6.8.
Internal 500gb / 8x external HDD's 250GB - 3TB (4x Time Machine)

Brilliant idea, i personally think that should be everyone backup regiment, but i doubt everyone has the discipline required to maintain such security, and they will kick themselves in the butt when the crap hits the fan.

I do the same with TM on a FW external, and CCC on a USB Passport Drive that i keep in a fireproof safe. I am planning on another portable external to have a CCC on it and keep it off site.
MPB 2.8GHz, 4GB Ram, 320GB HDD
2TB Raid 1 setup, Wacom 12x19, 24" ACD, Bose SS
FCS 2, Shake, Adobe CS4, Lightroom > Aperture

I also have a 160gb TM which I too keep in a safe, along with various CD DVD & Flash backups
