These numbers really are astonishing. Remember when Apple was being dismissed as "that iPod company?" Today, Apple earns more in profit than Intel, Dell, Asus, Acer, IBM, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, HTC, RIM, and Nokia put together.

Remember when I bought their stock for about $12 per share, then sold it because it didn't move for YEARS after releasing the titanium powerbook, iPod, OSX, then when it got to 27 I sold it and made a few grand?
That was cool.

Haha I bought when they did their massive dip during the recession - got in around $90, entirely on a student line of credit. Sold at $150 and made a few grand after "Steve Jobs is very ill" rumours starting getting hot.
Hey....helped with the liquor fund during final years of school, what can I say.

Seriously though, I've never bought stock in my life, but one of my friends turned $500 in Apple stock into about $20,000.

I remember being in college and I think Apple stock was at around 17 a share. Damn I wish I woulda had some extra cash back then.
