i dont have one, but my mother does, and i am going to put some more ram in the thing. never had a chance to see the inside, so i have no idea what im doing. is there a guide online or something?

sad thing is, i could do this in my imac with my eyes closed... but i dont want to risk going into my moms computer not knowing exactly whats up. i already seem to get blamed for every user error

good thing for her that shes my mom

There's someone in my head but its not me...

This should help:

http://www.info.apple.com/usen/cip/index.html

Pick your iBook, and there'll probably be a PDF, as well as a Quicktime movie of the installation process.
