Anyone have any idea when the Chrome web browser will be available for macs ???

They haven't announced a date yet... codeweavers packaged up the Windows version with their compatibility layer if you want to try out the Windows version on your Mac.

Until Chrome is out you can always try Stainless, a WebKit browser with a multi-processing architecture inspired by Chrome.
