Why does CopyPaste keep coming back?

I tried CopyPaste and decided not to keep it. I deleted all the preference files, etc. However, when I launch TextEdit and try to enlarge some text (using [Command] and [+] keys) it automatically launches CopyPaste again!
Afterwards, I deleted the CopyPaste app. However, [Command] + [+] no longer enlarges the selected text and tries to launch CopyPaste which isn't on the computer anymore.
How can I remove all traces of CopyPaste? Thanks.

I don't know that particular software, but from the description you are giving it sounds like this somehow hooks into other processes. I must have installed some hack to do so. Either use the uninstaller of the program (usually the installer functions as uninstaller as well) to properly uninstall the software or look for the part that hacks into other processes, usually either an APE-module or an InputManager hack in (~)/Library/InputManagers.
You can try to find related stuff with Spotlight.

Unfortunately, CopyPaste doesn't come with any installer or uninstaller. I've also tried looking for an APE module and files in the InputManager folder and found nothing. Lastly, I've already used Spotlight (and Spotlaser) to look for traces of CopyPaste...
Any other ideas? Thanks for the help!

Hmm, it certainly looks like it shouldn't be hanging around after it's been quit & trashed.
One thought -- did it add an entry to the Services menu? Perhaps that's triggering it. If so, try resetting Launch Services to clean things up. Alternatively, use ServiceScrubber to remove stuff from the menu.
I'd double-check the Accounts prefpane to make sure it's been removed from the login items -- sometimes that can track down wayward copies of an app from a backup disk or the like.
Certainly do a logout/login, or even a restart.
Hopefully one of those will work!
