Ive written a very simple AppleScript so my wife can open a disk image and a classic application that requires that disk image. Unfortunately, unless the disk is mounted before Classic starts, the application cant see it. In short, I need the script to check if Classic is running, and if so, to stop it.

Any suggestions?

The process that runs the Classic environment is called "TruBlueEnvironment". You may be able to look for that via the Processes Suite of the System Events app, and then quit it using normal "tell" commands. If not, you can certainly look for it and kill it using unix shell commands, called from your AppleScript using the "do shell script" command from Standard Additions.

Welp, I found the answer on Apples own discussion boards. Its just a shell script.

Thanks again!
