We purchased an Epson Stylus CX5200 last month, and have just recently noticed that we can’t print from Classic. It works fine in 9.2.2, it works fine in Jag 10.2.6; we just can’t print from Classic applications while booted into X. Calling tech support was no help; they claim it’s impossible (and implied—laughably—that this was the case with all printers).

So.... Anyone know of a workaround?

Well, you can always print a PDF in Classic and then print the PDF from OS X.

You can use either Acrobat or PrintToPDF.

[Edit:] Sorry, didn't reflect on the fact that it worked in OS 9 directly - so the Classic drivers must be already installed, of course... Maybe a Classic Chooser issue...? Or, maybe Epson just screwed Classic printing - who knows...
