Well, this is my first time attempting a theme or a mockup for that matter. I was going for a cartoony yet dark look. I also wanted to be original and refrain from a Milk, Aqua or Powermetal type look which many of the great Mac Themers produce. I would really appreciate your feedback, whether it be positive or negative. Tips are always welcome.

I'll post a finderbar and finder/toolbar button mockup very soon.

I dig it,Will it suffer from the same dark problems other dark themes do? Looks very cool to me.

I actually want to add the gloss effect to the majority of the elements on the theme. I'm referring to the gloss effect on the buttons. Let me know if I should keep it the same or go glossy.

You should take a look at the old Obsidian Kscheme .... now a variation of that would be awesome!

I think you won't be able to have that black border on it.

check in with davidmac @ the funmac forums... he does a white stroke variant of milk and it seems like you could pull off the same idea in black . . .

The theme is very much doable, although you'd need some giant caps on push buttons so the curve should be alot shaper. Anyways it just looks far to jaggy

Reminds me of Corey Marion's SketchCons set.
