Hello

what is the app (not MenuShade or Barmaid) that allows you to block the Menubar w/ a specific color?
(did a search and to no avail)

Thanks,
there was a program that covered the Menubar with a single color (that you could determine), instead of just darkening it, like menushade,

Menushade was that app... but I don't think it works in Tiger.

Today's version 0.6 lets you add transparancy to the menubar, no color. This feature may be back in future versions.
BTW, with full transparancy you'll have a black bar - like VOID, but even without text LOL
(sorry, couldn't resist this one MacDog)

Its too bad that menushade can't get rid of the shadow too... That way the menubar could fade in and out and still be able to see the desktop image underneath. This would make this app totally useable.

Yes But,
menushade doesn't allow you to pick a color to block the bar...
That is what I wonder about,
Did it in earlier versions?

I guess I don't understand the desire for a function like that...
