For those who are interested in the language that inspired Objective-C, there's a new Smalltalk implementation for Mac OS X. It's called Ambrai Smalltalk, and unlike Squeak it has a native look-and-feel. Due to the fact that it's a light wrapper over native calls rather than a whole environment unto itself, it's also considerably faster than Squeak.
