That is actually very nice. Apple is finally starting to make it usefull (or lucky) to be part of .Mac.
Yes, I know I could buy a PC, but why?

cool....nice perk. and i suspect we may see more stuff like this (freebies and discounts)...after all, apple is not totally daft - they know that .mac has to be worth it to get the subscribers to stick with it after the first (half price) year.

IMO, the 100MB of disk space, 10MB email, free prints, .mac exclusives with the iApps were more than worth $100. Now they've thrown in a bunch of discounts, 2 games and a utility. Who's still complaining?

Bah. StuffIt's got nothing on a good-old .dmg.bz2, which StuffIt Expander will happily give an icon and decompress without the user having to care if it was made from the command line.

There's more, I'm sure I'm just the first to say so out loud.

I am, I am They need to add more stuff for it to be of any value. I have 7 doamins hosted, so web space & emails are worthless to me. So there's nothing in .mac that's worth $100 to me.
