Hello,

I need to create a vertical wedge shape and successfully created one in word. How do I save this as a picture file of some sort (I need to use it in a music notation program)?

Any thoughts? Thanks

Print>Save as PDF. Then open the PDF in Photoshop and save in a format of your choice... TIF, EPS, JPG- whatever.

Take a screen capture of the Word page

apple + shift + 4 (and then select the area you want to take a picture of)

Open in preview... convert to a gif or jpg (in "save as")...

Thank you! I wondered what preview was for. This was very helpful (I'm new to Macs, in case you can't tell).

Since you don't have Photoshop. Open the PDF in Preview and then save it as another file type. Screen grab would be lower quality than the PDF conversion.
