Ever since this alfa came out, I've just been amazed at its design:

Anybody think something is even sexier? Post it.

Other than both of those cars being red, I don't see what you're getting at. Tons of cars have curvy shapes like that, but the proportions, windows, freakign EVERYTHING on the alfa is just hot.

Hey the Ferrari is 40 years old. I don't think it's sexier, I just think its what the design was inspired from.

Perhaps the Lincoln MKR?

Note: They even put the Lincoln logo in the tire tread! Now how cool is that?

Of course, this is Ford and being a typical American car company they will never actually produce anything this sexy. The most we might see is something vaguely reminiscent of this ultimate hotness. Oh well.

Late 90's Marcos Mantis. As shown here. They're better with a wood interior and normal paint - much, much better looking in real life than in photos.

Nah, I just don't get why you think they copied ferrari. That general bodystyle is present on an awful lot of cars. That's like saying BMW copies Mercedes because they both build large black sedans.

Copied is a strong word. Inspired, yes.

Yes, well I'm waiting to see some of these cars. Somehow I doubt any will be as similar as that Ferrari is.

They're smaller and faster than a Viper. Last time I went to the factory, there was a 450 bhp supercharged version sitting around back waiting for transport to a client in Russia. Truly mental machine.

And they don't all look like that one - most of 'em have wood interiors and normal paint, which gives 'em more of a Morgan (English sports car) feel. Like the blue convertible @ 1:05 here.

I can't emphasise how much better they look in real life than in photos. And first time you see one you get size-shock, since they're so small and low.

OK, so which knobhead started a thread in which people are going to post pics and didn't tag it with an image warning?

Here's what Alfa's design team said inspired them to do this car:

1967 Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 :
http://www.partaj.cz/imgs/alfaromeo/tipo33/33t.jpg
http://www.fast-autos.net/data/images/9232.JPG

Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2
http://www.supercars.net/gallery/119513/860/393254.jpg
http://homepage2.nifty.com/AZ-1/2002...1103_TZ2_2.jpg

Notice the taillights in that last pic too.

Anyway, again, you saying they copied ferrari is a bit like saying BMW copies Mercedes since they both build large sedans with leather interiors and woodgrain dashes.

Where did I say they copied Ferrari again?

BTW, wanna guess which came out first, the 250 GTO or the Giulia TZ2.

I will agree the Alfa beats them all so far.

Does it have a flux capacitor?
Do you want forgiveness or respect?
