I have 2 20 in. apply cinema displays on their way to me. I have searched the forums and yet I don't know if i will be able to use the dual display option with my powerbook. If i close my powerbook, can i use the two 20 in. displays as the two monitors? has anyone else done this? Also, I am aware that I need two adapters for this, but the powerbook only has only one port. Any ideas on what i can use for the other dvi to adc adapter? Thanks in advance for the input.

As the PB only has 1 DVI port, you can only drive 1 DVI/ADC external monitor, with or without the PB's own internal screen.

Check out the Village Tronic website

They have a PC Card adapter that has a DVI connection, which I think sells for $250. You would also need a DVI-to-ADC adapter (another $150).

I thought my 42" plasma was overkill but it's not but 4 times 2 20 inch....

Plasmas are not as clear as Apple's DVIs but it shure makes an impression when people walk in!
