VXA FW Tape Backup and Disc Burner

	Well they don't work together apparently. If I want to burn a disc, I need to 1st unplug the FireWire cable to the VXA tape backup , then restart. Plugging the cable back in seems enough for Retrospect to acknowledge the VXA however. Problem reminds me of the old SCSI problems of days past. Anyone having this problem too?
