Well I made it through Friday for all you who didn't think I could do it. (I won some money too, hehe)

Well opened my new 17" PB and I love it. I can definately feel the difference in speed compared to my old Rev A. I absolutely love it along with the iCurve. looks almost like a desktop. I would definately recommend it to anyone. I'm moving all my files over now. I've been draining the battery from the first charge and I've been on it for over 2.5 hours. Got 11 minutes now. Well I am very satisfied. If there are any questions I can answer, that haven't been answered already, please let me know.

Why did you go from A to B? To me that's like loading up the family van for a three week vacation and going across the street to spend the vacation in a motel. Somebody kick me. I just don't get it. Something musta happened with your Rev A 17"?

Well no particular reason. I was thinking about going back to Windows, because I was unhappy with the Rev A (beachballs, I felt it was slower than it should be), then the new ones came out after I put it on Ebay, so I decided to give it another shot. And I am very happy I did.

WITHOUT TRYING OUT PANTHER AFTER ALL THE PRELIMINARY REPORTS!!!????!?

Damn, man, my G3 iMac DV 400 running Panther is snappier and less prone to beachballing than my 12" Powerbook was running Jaguar.

Ah, whatever. If you can afford to lose that much money, more power to you.

Not sure how much money was lost.. I have sold late-model 15" iMac and PB and the 20" display and I get about 90 cents on the dollar when I use eBay.. these things really hold their value!
