My sister asked me to ask the MacNN Forum this:
I am looking for some software. Need your help. I want
to be able to create designs using a graphics
software, for example scanning in your photographs and
printing off a color graph of the photo that I can
then use to create needlepoint designs.
Am not having much success with internet searches but
thought you might know of something that I could use.

I'm not sure such a niche product would be available for mac. If your sister has an intel mac, she can then use Vmware's Fusion to run windows and then this product would fit the bill easygrapher

I suppose perhaps but easygrapher software will be hands down easier to use and produce the results that will be needed for those that do needlepoint. There will need to be alot of tweaking and working with PS so much so, I suspect the result would not be worth the work required to get it done.
