Is it possible to find an English OS9 installation CD for and old iMac?
A friend has given her iMac to a 4 year old Cypriot who would perfer a English system rather than the German one.

Those are 9.1 to 9.2 updaters not the complete OS.

Huh, didn't realize they were updates. Umm....wasn't there a page on apple.com that had the actual OS download? Trying to find it...

Only up to System 7. OS 8 and 9 you still have to buy.
Check eBay or Craigslist, probably get it for cheap.

Apple has not released 9.0 for download like it has for its older legacy OS. Your best bet to get this, is ebay, and/or google. I recall seeing some vendors selling old copies of os8 and os9.
