Hi,

I've got an issue with a Thunderbolt Mac Mini - after a recent Lion s/w update it won't get passed the progress spinner at boot.

I have tried booting in verbose mode and the following error is shown:
code:
BootCacheControl: unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist 2 no such file or directory

Then shortly after:
code:
Socket is not connected

Having googled the BootCacheControl error some people seem to have solved the issue by booting into the recovery partition and repairing permissions. Alas this doesn't work for me.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
