Hmmm, my search-fu is weak this AM.

Can I boot OSX (Panther) from USB?

That depends on your computer. The Intel Macs are able to boot off of USB 2.0 drives, but PPC Macs cannot.

And since you are running Panther, therefore a PowerPC Mac, I fear you are not going to be able to boot from USB.

Worse even... no funds for modern kit so I'm still plugging away on my Pismo.
