Questions marked with * are mandatory to answers.
How much is your yearly income? *

Or just invent crap to mess up their demographics.

Example: I'm a 140 year old female from Afghanistan who is unemployed but makes over $70000 a year.

But that will backfire sometimes.

Once my father received information on life insurance through the mail. Instead of throwing it away he actually filled it out using ridiculous information. No life insurance company in the world would ever insure this guy: 110 year old smoker with diabetes and a history of 6 heart attacks. My father named the guy "Dennis" but spelled it using Greek characters and writing it in all caps so it looked like this: "ΝΤΕΝΥΣ." (except the last letter looked like an "S" the way he wrote it. Then he sent it in. Oh, Ntenys has no last name.

Two weeks later, the insurance company sent their informational packet to Ntenys. Unbelievable! (The best part was Mom's response: "Who the hell is Natennies?") My father still gets odd things addressed to Ntenys from time to time. Mom just hands them to him.

I don't see how it's spam or anything... not selling a product or asking for personal info. I did it, no problem. The OP probably just needed research on the topic and saw MacNN.

to this day, if i'm attending a one day seminar or something that i don't need to be there on official capacity for work, i still use one of the fake names. got an entire history for the "person" if someone strikes up a conversation. i'll never see them again, it's fun!
