MY VERY FIRST APPLE PRODUCT!! YAHOO!! THIS IPOD ROCKS. IT LOOKS SOOOO COOL!!! I never realized how small it is until I actually am holding it.
anywayz, I was just wondering if anybody knows under what operating temps my Ipod would function without being damanged.
I live in Canada and as many ppl know, the weather here can be pretty harsh..
I dont wanna freeze my ipod to death !!
BTW, my iPod's actual size is only 18.6GB instead of 20GB. Is this normal?

As long as you keep it near your body, you should be fine. If you're going to do the Iditarod sled race, you might have a problem!
BTW, welcome to the Mac family.

Why is there always money for war, but none for education?

Yes, it is normal for your iPod to only have 18.6GB. It is just a normal hard drive after all, and after formatting and the operating system and such, a couple gigs are taken.
The iPod is the best purchase I've ever made! And yes, welcome to the Mac family!

It has nothing to do with that. It's the standard discrepancy between decimal and binary math.
Read the fine print on the iPod box, it mentions it.
