I got my Touch finally and it was nice to see a 40 euros drop in price after the 1.13 release (which costs 17.99).

Question is are there any easter eggs I can find and is there a hack or trick to enable viewing of different video formats in Safari (mpg, Real, Flash, etc)?

Jobs banned easter eggs when he came back to Apple.
You won't find a single one since then.

And no, Safari does not support any of those formats.

Too bad about video in a browser. The quicktime trailer site works well though.

I was wondering how would Skype ever work well when two apps can't run at the same time. Will Skype and other IM apps be allowed to run as background processes?

An IM feature for iPod Touch would be really neat.

With some loud music + a friend to chat nearby you can get alot done. - but jezz, I'd avoid it if I had the choice---- If only real people came with Alpha Channels.......:)

Actually, you CAN find some easter eggs in Mac OS X
Even though they were banned, some brave souls left their mark

A few easy ones to find:

the Weather widget, if you hold down Command-Option and click the image of the current weather (ex. the sun) then it will change the city to "Nowhere" and if you keep clicking it with those two keys held down, you can see all the possible weather pictures.

On the Mail Application, if you Control-Click it and select "Show Package Contents", and then go Contents->Resources->senders.tiff, you can see what appear to be some of the programmers who built the application.

There are a lot in terminal, some still not found, because they are easily hidden in terminal.

actually, there's a way that u can watch flash video without hacking or anything. In the app store just download 'Puffin', it allows u to watch flash videos. But u have to pay $1.99 for it, u can get the demo version thou, but it only lasts for a week.
