Woman Sits On Toilet For...TWO YEARS.

WHY?

Who is more demented: The woman for sitting on the toilet for 2 years...or the boyfriend who didn't contact authorities or get help?

Woah. That MacBook must have had some stunning battery management going on.
Been inclined to wander... off the beaten track.
That's where there's thunder... and the wind shouts back.

That's one serious turd!

If she'd sat there so long her skin had started to grow around the toilet, had she even washed in 2 years?

One Of THE Weirdest Situations THREADS Ever...

He told investigators he brought his girlfriend food and water, and asked her every day to come out of the bathroom.

"And her reply would be, `Maybe tomorrow,'" Whipple said. "According to him, she did not want to leave the bathroom."

To be honest, I don't believe the 2 years.

That just sounds like crazy talk.

Can you imagine the smell ?

Yeah, I'm sure she planned that and had the bathroom appropriately pimped: 60" flat screen TV, PS and WII, microwave, own brewery etc...

I enjoy a good trip to the toilet as much as the next guy, but this is slightly excessive. Thanks for the link...I'll be using that.

Why won't Tom Cruise come out of the closet?

Wait a minute!

Where did the boyfriend go to use the restroom? I'm thinking this situation might've been even more bizarre than I first thought...

See where I'm going with this?

I somehow can't believe this story is even real. I mean how can the boyfriend go to bed every night knowing his gf is in the other room sitting on the can for 2 years, bring her food, clean up and not tell anyone. I can't comprehend how anyone can sit like that for 2 years and not move and avoid going completely insane from boredom.

I see no crime here, if the woman wanted to stay in the bathroom, why would anyone press charges on the boyfriend for letting her?

Because she is obviously suffering from mental problems.

Apparently she hadn't been sitting on the toilet for two years, or anywhere near that for that matter. She was moving around freely, he brought her fresh clothes, food and drink. She was just not leaving the bathroom - the sitting on the toilet appears to be a habit that was acquired fairly recently. It looks like she had a history of mental illness and that her boyfriend had been looking after her for 16 years.

Looks to me like he was just ill prepared to deal with the reality that this time she really needed professional help. But if you're without the means to pay for it, or without insurance, then what do you do?

Hmm, I wonder how long it takes for a toilet seat to grow into your ass and your legs to go paralyzed though.

The muscles in her leg had cramped around the seat, holding the seat to her legs.

As per usual, the facts are far less fun than the fiction that tends to grow around cases like this.

That's usually not an issue -- the reluctance is part of the illness. Boyfriend was codependent/enabling obviously, just as sick as she was.

But I guess I don't watch enough propaganda TV: Right, it was lack of INSURANCE that caused this. Vote Obama, and he'll fix it!

The mental graphic of this situation is more horrific than an episode of Jerry Springer
