Hello all,

I've got a PB G4 - see sig for specs. I've currently got it spanned to an external monitor using the DVI. I just tried to span it to a third display (my TV) using the S-video output, but it's doesn't seem to recognise the TV. Is it possible to span my display to both external devices at once?

Thanks.

Only one external device allowed. The GPU doesn't support more than that. It's not a VRAM issue; it's the interfaces on the chip.

You can get an (expensive) graphics card to go in your PCMCIA slot for third monitor support. I don't remember what company makes them.

If I used that card with a Pismo (ATI rage 128 or something, it has 8 mb vram), would I see a performance gain in games, etc, run on the external display? I assume there would be no difference to whatever is on the pb's actual display.
