I must say that I'm finding it very easy to use. The tutorials at Apple.com are very good as well. I really primed myself to learn Photoshop but I think that the basic stuff that can be done in Aperture is fine for me.
Obviously, alot to learn still though.

Me too!! Needs more features tho! A decent watermarking function would be a start!

Apple should have picked a better name though. Searching for aperture tutorials doesn't just give you stuff about the software !!!

Yeah, found those cheers richwig83. I also found some short video tuts here, and then of course theres the Aperture forum.
Seems like the Dodge and Burn plugin is answering more and more needs of users. I have yet to try it.
