Hi all, I am using icon maker 5.0 to make some icons out of some png's that I have.

Whenever I pull the bitmap and the mask into the preview window (usually I just hit quick create or whatever it is called) I get these lines that run through the icon. I know it has nothing to do with the png because if I keep on hitting quick preview the lines change position.

I am running the demo, so could it be some thing related to that?

Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks.

Hal!

Post a screenshot of how you are setting up the iconbuilder window.

this might sound like a silly question, but is it a legal copy of iconbuilder?

The demo doesn't do that, it only does that if you put in a pirated s/n. I think the author's making a point against 'casual piracy' because the demo is fully functional, just with a time-delay on launch.

CrippleWare. Be thankful it doesn't wipe your home directory instead!

Plus, it's a b*tch to unregister, there are two hidden files you need to delete, but I don't think I should post what their names are here!

Anyhoo, IconBuilder is a bit heavyweight for what you're doing, I use Iconverter to make icons from PNGs.
