I have just installed Panther (archive and install) on my dual gig G4 and the pref panes are all in the wrong places, i.e. Expos, Security, Print & Fax and Desktop & Screen Saver are all in the "Other" Category.

How can I re-arrange or return them to "normal"?

thanks

Hi!

Try deleting ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.preferencepanes.cache.
