I wish a dual 2.0 would invade my home.
Cool, though, can't wait to see tons of happy G5 pics on the boards in the coming weeks.

I wish they came with better keyboards.
I still long for a black version of my old IBM keyboard. Everything lately is mediocre at best, both on the PC side and the Mac side.

Granted, the G5 the fellow has came from the Stanford EDU Store, thus him having it so early. Yes, the keyboard/mouse looks VERY mediocre compared to the rest of the packedge...definitely hafte pick up a 3rd party set.

I agree 100%.
The white Pro Keyboard was a beauty in front of an iMac and it worked well.
The white eMac keyboard is just el-cheapo.
But why in the name of burning hell did they have to do away with the black Pro Keyboard?
It would have fit much much better with a PowerMac G5 or a PowerBook than the white ones.
It seems Steve is full of it when it comes to mice and keyboards.

I think a there is going to be a large amount of used G4's sold with 'G5' white Keyboard's and mice, The older black Pro keybords look far better.

What's up with the mouse?
The case looks better in these pics than any others I've seen. Very sharp.

I went to MicroCenter and played with the keyboard the other day. It has a pretty decent feel and doesn't seem cheap to me. Granted, I only used it for a few minutes, but I didn't think it was bad.

It really does look nice. I love the design -- what's everyone bitching about? Sure, it looks like a cheese grader -- but the damn coolest cheese grader I've ever seen.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I love the white keyboard. Clean. Tranquil. Elegant.

I'm still in love with my Dual 1.25 GHz G4. But these are utterly beautiful. I would have jumped all over getting one if the expandability was better.

I'm pathetic.
I have a brand new Apple LCD display, JBL Creature speakers, an Epson 900 printer, Final Cut Express, and a spot reserved for my 1.8 GHz G5, BUT NO G5 YET!!!!!!
It looks pretty pathetic with everything ready for the G5, but nothing from the UPS guy yet. *sigh* Wish I was one of those smart ones who picked it up from a local dealer instead of waiting for my 9/9/03 ship date.

Looks much better than Apple's pictures. I like it. I like my white KB and mouse, also the eMac mouse, but I do not like the new eMac KB.

I wish my 1.6 GHz G5 would come...
I hope it comes by next friday, because i get a three-day weekend in a week (labor day), and it would be nice to have an extra day to play with it...
How long do you guys think it will take for them to arrive after they ship? (I ordered standard ground shipping. I wish i had done overnight/2-day shipping instead )

Typically on newly released products, Apple automatically ships it to you via Overnight w/o notifying you...they did on my 17" PB even though I selected Ground shipping.

Do they ship the item without notifying you that it has been shipped, or do they just upgrade your shipping without telling you so?
