My primary browser for now is Mozilla. I like too much Chimera, but it's unestable and crash when I'm with more than four tabs. With Mozilla, I can open as many tabs as I need, without problems.

Then, Mozilla is my selection, but I would prefer a 5 MB app and not a 35 MB dinosaur... but Safari will do it in some months, I hope.

But I like a Chimera default workaround with tabbed browsing that I can't configure in Mozilla: If I open URLs from different origin (a URL file, MacReporter links, Mail or Entourage links, etc.), Chimera automatically opens the URLs in new tabs. Mozilla, on the other side, opens new windows, and it doesn't change in the preferences...

Any hack or trick? If Safari would have tabbed browsing in some weeks, I wouldn't lost my time with it, but I think that that feature will be included only in some months...

Thanks in advance!!!
Best regards from Colombia!

I love this feature too. You can open multiple pages from the finder or other apps and when you go into Chimera they're all waiting for you, neatly laid out as tabs in the one window.

As for stability, are you using the 20th December build of Chimera, as recommended at http://www.mozilla.org/projects/chimera/ ? I'm using this and I've found it to be very stable indeed. I've had countless tabs open in multiple windows without a hitch.

Hello, Steve! Excuse me the delay in my answer.

The 20-Dec build of Chimera is great and stable. I'm using Chimera more frequently than before.

But I prefer Mozilla yet, for Sidebar and other options... ;-)

So I hope the Mozilla developers read it!
Best regards from Colombia!

Somebody knows something about it?

I'm a new happy user of NetNewsWire (I liked MacReporter before), and I'm needing badly that Chimera feature...

Thanks in advance!
Best regards from Colombia!
