I know we've all seen copy cats before, but this company seems to have designed their website and ads in exactly the Apple style. Just look at this hardware page for one of their laptops.

Main-nav across top - check
Big graphic with catchy phrase - check
Mini-nav for this comp - check
Wide left column with main info and pics - check
Thin right column with more tech info - check

Though this company seems to think everything that can be animated should be.

Their home page looks like Apple from a few years ago too. And even their blue wavy background and dock-like bar across the bottom on all their screens is eerily similar.

It's a sham? The whole things a sham?

Sorry for bringing up old news. I haven't been around in a while and someone somewhere else posted something from these guys. I brought up that their site looked exactly like Apple's but they're all PC heads and wouldn't appreciate it.

But ... I don't really get it. They put an awful lot of work into that site. Is it real or not?

It was exposed as a scam in 2003/4, wonder why it has resurfaced now. Maybe they never went away?

Well, I guess all I can say is "whatever." Someone was just making note of the displays, and all I could see was the Apple in it. I guess if it's a hoax then that's why they'd copy the design. Though I do wonder why it's been around for almost 3 years if it's just a joke. All the links in the old thread that I think were gonna have proof are all dead. So the old threads are full of "omg i can't believe you guy think that's real" and "omg that's totally real."

Though when you get into the site, you're at an IP rather than a domain... THAT'S bizarre. I'd never give money to an IP.

I don't think they ever went away, but just didn't draw much attention after they first went live.

It's strange because they put out somewhat regular product announcements (http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/060518/20060518005269.html?.v=1) and are now a publicly held company (http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=litl.pk&d=t).

The product people usually find most questionable is this one:

Maybe it'll turn out to be a subsidiary of the Hanso Foundation ...

I have to wipe the froth from my mouth due to the seizure I just had with all the flashing colors.
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.

That's a lot of drop shadow.
