Okay, here's my dilemma. I have to upload my web site using windows' web folders. but i really don't want to. I'd prefer to do in OS X. Is there any way i can do it?

Yes, any FTP client will do the job for you. I find the easiest to use are Transmit and Captain FTP. Transmit has the edge because it's got a "Synchronize" option that ensures that your local copy of your website and the online copy are the same.

FTP programs won't do it; Web Folders isn't FTP.
However, Web Folders is basically WebDAV. So you should be able to do this right in the Finder. Just use "Connect to Server..." from the Go menu, and type in http://address-of-server:port-number when asked. It should work fine.
Apache's WebDAV file sharing is compatible with Web Folders, too. So you can go the other way if the need arises.
