I'm having trouble viewing pictures that people post on the forums? Like the OS X screenshot thread, only a couple pictures show up out of many?

I'm logged in, but it still does no good.

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

Just guessing, but those pics aren't showing up because they were posted a while back and have since been moved/deleted from wherever they were hosted.

I'm using internet explorer while at work. I haven't tried it in safari at home yet (just recently got my macbook).

I don't think they're too old. For example, on the latest screenshot page in the GUI customizing post, not a single picture is showing up: http://forums.macnn.com/94/gui-custo...ot-thread/285/

Seems kind of weird to me?

Right, so, it's not age then. They're showing for me. So

If your connection is filtered at work, it's probable that the hosting sites are being blocked.

I suppose it could be filtered, although I've never had a problem with pictures from any other forums while at work.

I'll try it at home on the mac and let you guys know.

Thanks!

Many of the pictures in the OS X screenshot are from imageshack.us, photobucket.com, or flickr; these might well be blocked at your work place—they’re blocked most places.

Yep, they worked at home. It's weird at work, I can go the actual hosting website, but it won't show the linked images.

Thanks

Acutally when I'm using IE7 in the labs on campus, most of the pictures don't show up, but they all show up fine on a Mac on the same network, so it's not due to any type of filter.
