I need to move all files and apps from an iMac DV (on OS 9.2) to a G4 MDD (on OS X.3) and I'd like to do it as easily and cheaply as possible. I do have an external ZIP, but can't see spending days moving stuff with disks and plugging and unplugging ... same with burning CDs. Suggestions?
Thanks all!

If the iMac DV has firewire do as the guy above suggests, if not attach a ethernet cat-5 cable between the two Macs, turn filesharing on and copy the files over.

Doesn't it have to be an ethernet cat-5 crossover cable or does it work with both kinds of cat-5s?

The G4 MDD (and probably the iMac also) has an auto-sensing ethernet port, so you can use either.
