I don't know if this is the best place to post this, since it's possibly an OSX question more so than an eMac question, but I'll give it a shot.
My computer recently crashed and I hard to reload my OS (10.1.4) I have an external hard drive, and before the crash, when the computer went to sleep and then woke back up, the hard drive icon was still there, and had no problems at all. Now, after the reboot, when the computer wakes back up, it gives me this message saying that I didn't put away the drive and that some files could be damaged in it. Anyone seen this before? Is this a problem that has been corrected by various software updates that I lost during the reboot? I never experinced it before, and if I have to put away and then reopen that additional drive every time my computer goes to sleep or risk damaging files, that's just kind of annoying. Any ideas? Thanks in advance folks!
